$3 ea. plus shipping of $3.00 on first item and $1.00 ea. additional item. Limited quantities are available, so call before ordering.

1. ASA Tags- American Flag on the left, seal in the center and the ASA patch on the right. They are $10 plus $3.00pack and mail first item, $1 ea additional.
2. Magnetic tag 4” X 8" with ASA Patch, Seal and the Unit Crest. The only thing to remember is take it off whenyou go through a car wash.
They are $6 plus $2.00 pack & mail first item, $1 ea. additional.
3. Caps Screen Printed- $4.50 ea. plus packing and mailing $4.00 ea. Add $1.50 for ea. additional cap mailed.
If ordered with shirts add $1.50 for mailing for each cap. These are being phased out. The only ones available are
those with the ASA Crest (eagle on the globe) and across the top IN GOD WE TRUSTED and across the bottom
ALL OTHERS MONITORED. (This is the last of the screen printed hats.)
4. Visor only cap blue bill, white front with the bear logo and ASAFS on the right and CHITOSE on the left $2.50
ea. Mailing & packing is $3.50, add $.50 for ea additional visor.
5. Cap Embroidered, a black mesh or solid back cap. $11.00 ea.; specify mesh or solid back. Call on availability of
Mesh, Solid Back and logo. Packing and mailing same as 3 above.
A. This is a description of a new Logo that proved very popular at our last reunion. It has the Chitose bear
with the lightning bolts and the map of Hokkaido in green in the background. It has 2 versions, one with
an American flag to the left and to the right ASA Chitose and the years we were there 1950 to 1970.
Another version just has the Bear with ASA Chitose in smaller letters under it. Both proved to be popular at the reunion.
B. We will continue to carry the cap with the ASA patch (Eagle foot with lightning bolts), on the right side is
a replica of the US flag and on the left is the dates 1945 to 1976 (dates ASA was in existence). Across the
top is ARMY SECURITY AGENCY and across the bottom a choice of the following ALIVE AND
WELL, FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED or STILL LISTENING in gold letters. .
6. 1” Lapel or hat pins, these are reproductions with original colors $2.50. Packing & mailing $ .90, no charge if
ordered with caps or T-shirts.
A. Fuji Patch - Replaced the GHQ patch around 1953.
B. ASA Patch - Eagles claw with lightning bolts, replaced the Fuji patch in early 60’s.
7. Fuji Patches full size copies of our original patch- $2.50. Packing & mailing $ .90, no charge if ordered with caps or T-shirts.

from the admin fund. Do not include dues in this check. Damaged items will be replaced. The bear with
lightning bolt on the map of Hokkaido, widely used as a logo on our souvenir items was designed by Dudley Wetherby,
 Chitose 54/56. This logo was adopted by the unit as their unofficial logo as the result of a unit wide
contest held. The logo was very prominently displayed at the entrance to Kuma Station.

Happi Coats:
We made up a limited number of Happi coats prior to the last reunion. We are again making arrangements to
have HAPPI Coats made up for anyone who might be interested. The coats will be made in medium, large and
X large. In the sizes quoted, my wife is medium and I am X- large. Yes, these are also worn by the men. They
are being made up in gold/yellow with black trim. They are monogrammed with an enlarged bear logo on the
back with ARMY SECURITY AGENCY arced across the top and CHITOSE JAPAN across the bottom. These
are nice coats and very similar to the ones the dancers use at our reunions. The price on the coats previously
made were $40 regardless of size. We had to increase the prices since the price of the logo jumped from $10.60
to $15.90 and the sewing was a little more time consuming than we thought. Medium will be $46 and large/xlarge
will be $49. In addition to the sizes above, you will need to provide the following measurements; waist,
height, shoulders (men), arm length (men), chest (women). The cost of material is a variable that we cannot
control so these prices could go up a little but hopefully they will not. We will need advance payment for these
and if prices do change, the additional can be paid when delivery is made. We will deliver at the next reunion
for those attending; otherwise, we can deliver by mail for an additional fee. The coats are being made by a local
Japanese seamstress. We expect to have 50 or 60 prior to the next reunion. Cut off for ordering is 9 January so
we can order material and get started. Send a check made out to me and be sure to include size.
